ge11is: According to the Halo 4: vidoc, Halo 4 is promised to introduce ” a threat that is beyond anything Master Chief has faced before”. This leaves me to wonder what ELSE could Master Chief combat? I feel that that a series of instruments used to eliminate all sentient life in the universe in addition to the threat of a group of aliens at war with Earth is something that will be hard to top. Oh and while all this is going on, one must not forget the parasitic life forms also attacking Earth.  All I’m saying is that a threat bigger than the destruction of the universe has got to be pretty amazing and VERY huge (I’m talking end of time huge).  But like I said, I’m looking forward to seeing what 343 studios has in store for us. Are you familiar with the Forerunners?

have you put as much hope into halo 4? like that it will go beyond the rest

I’m a huge fan of the books and I’m excited to see how the Forerunners will play a part in it. Although I loved Halo 1-3, I think Master Chief was in definite need of an update. As for going beyond the rest… I think everyone has some pretty high expectations for 343 and I hope that they know that!
